Just a quick puff in sunny Fitzroy

Such a beautiful day to walk around the back lanes

& alleys of Melbourne's Northside.

Drawn to the Night Cat in Johnston Street, Fitzroy.
To be surprised and delighted by the film noir 1950s

"postcard" from the normally sunny  Everfresh Studio.
Magically crammed to the brim with brand images.
A totally tail wagging experience.

"Black Rose" cuttings

Aeonium arboreum var. atropurpureum 'Schwarzkof'
Aeonium is a genus of about 35 species,
mainly native to the Canary Islands.
I have broken up a clump of this dramatic
maroon succulent for re-planting.
Do you have a sunny position?
I started with just one plant many
years ago.  A sunny position and
rainfall in Melbourne leads to an
annual chop. Very hardy and pest
resistant. New growth is green which
then gradually darkens with exposure
more sunlight.
