Attended Carnival and T-dance yesterday - the closing events of the Midsumma festival. Went with Nursie, the Greek Boy & Zen. Was great to see Pony and Marcus, Marc, Marc (baby-bear), Adam, Andrew M & reptilian friend, Cookie, Travis and all the usual suspects. Had a good boogie under the trees. Note to caterers and event organisers - if you are going to charge $20 bucks entry ensure bar service does not exceed 45 minutes! Queens hate to queue - perhaps its a responsible serving of alcohol message?

Yah! Another Saturday at work over might head out to the Greyhound tonight - my local gay/drag pub. Birthday drinks for Travis ? - Didn't end up going but the birthday boy had fun and the place was packed.

Key words and phrases at work at the moment include: issues, unfortunate, I'm not over the detail, WIP = work in progress, budgetary restraint, FOH = front of house, BOH = back of house, YTD = year to date, SOH = stock on hand, SMEC = Sidney Meyer Education Centre, call centre = main office, stanley/s = snake, Bob = facilities Manager, Bear cave = my office. What language do u speak at work?

I am not the most active in the morning even after caffiene - an owl not a sparrow. 7:50am train to city then 8:05am train to Heidelberg 8:36 bus to Heide... looking good for a 9am start - I hope we don't have too many 8:30am meetings this year *yawn*
Essential reading in my pursuit of healthy aussie glow? Perhaps grow a body first? Nursie has a great stack of these magazines for inspiration and the insightful reading material. RE the tan I have enjoyed being a pale thang for a long time but I am trying some controlled burning and an everyday fake tan to see how orange I go!
My buddy Peter sent me the following txt msg over the weekend "F.U.C.K. stands for "Friends U Can Keep" So promise me, you'll F.U.C.K. Me 4ever! Send to 10 ppl including me, & c who F.U.C.Ks u back." made me laugh and I sent out into the wild for a response. All good, but I must remind myself before hitting send this kind of stuff can be like spam email - annoying (and expensive if you tally up the txt msgs) Belated apologizes to all. It's beyond a joke, 7:50 cancelled, 8am late - too full to board, 8:10 late - too full to board. 8:20 cancelled, 8:30 maybe? Yes but didn't make any friends pushing into middle of carriage.
